Lot 164 Pair of knives, New York Knife Co. wood handled timber scribe exc, and the legendary Charlie Genella produced, "Spike", made in 1977 based on an old Wabash Cutlery pattern, this was one of only two knives ever imported by Genella (The other was the "Little Buddy"). Charlie was a traveling companion the year made over 30 shows, and trivia note--I am the person who named both the Spike and the Little Buddy for Charlie. Charlie was a character, and for those who knew him you know what I mean, and for those who do not I'm sorry you never had the opportunity. Charlie was one of the good ones.
